  29. Make ready for For biryani gravy / sauce :
  30. Prepare 2 large onions chopped
  31. Get 1 tomato chopped
  32. Take 5 garlic chopped
  33. Prepare 1 tsp chopped ginger
  34. Take 1 tsp mussallam masala
  35. Get 3-4 kashmiri red chillies
  36. Make ready 1 tsp cashew paste
  37. Make ready 1/2 cup coconut milk
  38. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
  39. Get for Tempering :
  40. Make ready 1 capsicum chopped
  41. Prepare 1 pinch hing
  42. Make ready 2 tsp oil
  43. Prepare for garnish :
  44. Get 1 tsp chopped garlic leaves
  45. Prepare 1 tsp sesame seeds
  46. Take 2 tsp fried onions
  47. Take 4 Edible flowers for decoration
Instructions to make Tandoori Gobi Mussallam Biryani:
  1. Wash the rice and transfer it into the cooker, add water, salt and kewara water. Pressure cook till it is cooked.
  2. Soak saffron in warm milk and add it into the cooked rice. Gently mix it and keep aside.
  3. FOR BIRYANI: Take a wok and add some oil in it, deep fry potato wedges and remove. In same oil add bay leaf, cinnamon,star anniese, chopped green chillies
  4. Add carrots, peas, onions, capsicum,potatoes, boiled soya chunks and let it cook for a while. Add biryani masala, salt and mix it well.Transfer the rice into the wok and mix it well. Add roasted cashews and keep it aside.
  5. For Gobhi marinade: Take a bowl,add all the tandoori gobi ingredients and mix it well.
  6. In a pressure cooker or a wok blanch gobi with some salt and turmeric powder. When it is cooked apply the marinade and keep it in a frigde for 15 minutes. Take out and grill or deep fry.
  7. For gravy : Take oil in a pan and add onions, garlic, ginger,tomato, kashmiri red chillies, salt, and a pinch of sugar. Let it turn mushy and then blend it to smooth paste.
  8. Take oil in same pan and add the bay leaf. Add the onion tomato mixture, turmeric powder, coconut milk and cashew paste. let it simmer for some time and add mussallam masala. Add some water and bring it to a boil.
  9. For tempering : Take some oil and add capsicum, hing. And keep it aside.
  10. Now take a bowl / tray and add a layer rice bed then a layer of gravy. Keep repeating it.
  11. Slit open cauliflower and place it at the centre. Pour remaining gravy on it and the tempering too
  12. For garnish : Garnish with chopped garlic leaves, roasted cashews, fried onions and edible flowers. Serve hot with curd.
