The ingredients needed to make Ras Malai:
Make ready 100 ml milk
Prepare 1/2 cup Water
Get 2 tbsp Vinegar
Take 3 cups Water for sheera
Prepare 1 cup Sugar for sheera
Prepare 1 liter Milk for Rabri
Get Sugar, as per taste
Take 3 Cardamom
Take Pistachio as required
Make ready Almonds as required
Take Kewra essence optional
Instructions to make Ras Malai:
Boil milk, wait for 2 minutes to cook down. Add water mixed with vinegar slowly, until it starts curdling.. when its curdled properly, strain it in muslin cloth n wash with water.. tie it up n hang for about 40 minutes so that there will b no water in it.. but moisture should b there.. Don't dry it completely
Take it out in a large plate, add semolina n corn flour rub it with the palm of your hands for 10-15 minutes until the crumbs are dissolved n its a smooth dough.
Make small balls or shape it according to your desire, add in sheera.
Cook them for 10-12 minutes until double in size, take out from sheera n let them cool down.
In another pan, cook milk, sugar add cardamom, pistachio n almonds in it, reduce it little..
In a dish place them n decorate with some pistachios.. Serve chilled
